Greg Wardle is based in Queensland and is our longest serving resident artist. Greg has been coming to Hamilton Island since the end of the year 1998. Greg is a highly recognised artist here in Australia and Overseas. As his profile has increased, so has the demand for his work, with exhibitions in Japan, Australia and across South East Asia - keeping Greg busy in between stays here with us.
Greg gets his inspiration from the raw power of the ocean and this is shown in his paintings. Using a pallet knife, Greg is able to catch the movement and the emotion of the ocean. His works are often infused with high drama as racing yachts jostle for prominence against powerful landscape elements.
Greg also has numerous cards and prints showcasing his more popular works.
