Jane Kempe

Professional artist Jane Kempe is from Point Lonsdale, the iconic lighthouse village in Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay.
Growing up by the ocean, Jane's inspiration is the marine environment. You simply cannot miss the vibrant and vivacious paintings Jane has created with acrylic and mixed media. Summer at the beach, breezy days of sailing and life underwater.

Jane has been artist in residence on Hamilton Island for more than 15 years. Dive into a kaleidoscope of colour with Jane’s paintings inspired by the Great Barrier Reef.

Jane shares her acrylic painting skills in our popular art classes. Her art career spans fine art, illustration, and corporate branding. Her art is collected across Australia and internationally. Jane has participated in group exhibitions in London, Italy, and France and resided in the Maldives for three months as resident artist.
