LYN LAVER-AHMAT
Lyn lives in Slade Point Queensland, which is close to Mackay. She is our newest artist / teacher to join the Art Gallery Hamilton Island.
Lyn has spent more than 10 years teaching art in Queensland schools, most recently at North Mackay High School. Now that she has retired she spends her time painting lovely creations, renovating her little cottage and travelling up to help us with wonderful art classes.
She has a substantial record of art prizes and exhibitions and has traveled extensively, which gives great depth to her work.
