Jen D'Arcy

Jen D’Arcy is a professional artist and educator from the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria and has been visiting Hamilton Island regularly to paint over the past 10 years. Jen has a Bachelor of Fine Art from Melbourne University where she majored in painting and drawing.
Jen is a founding member of the Melbourne based art group EP Collective and participates in group and solo exhibitions across Melbourne and Sydney. Her works are held in both national and international collections. From realism to abstraction and with a passion for colour and detail, the paintings within Jen’s Whitsundays collection aim to capture a sense of place to be enjoyed and revisited long after leaving. The refraction of light through turquoise clear water, hazy lavender coloured distant islands or the warmth of the sun drenched white sand, evokes memories of holidays, happy times and tranquility. Jen’s paintings are commenced en plein air and then taken to her studio for finishing.
